So, you’ve explored the designs in your embroidery machine, but something shiny on the Internet has caught your eye. We will start at the beginning of downloading designs. We will focus on the Microsoft Windows™ computer operating system, and how much you can do with it. We will cover embroidery file formats and how to get them “into” your embroidery machine. We can’t leave out file/folder organization – so this too will be explored in Windows Explorer™ (see what I did there?! Hee hee!).

Supplies:

• Laptop with Microsoft Windows™ any version is fine – gina will be demonstrating with Windows 11.
• Helpful to have an embroidery program running on your laptop but not required. (BERNINA v9 or Artlink V9)
• A USB stick / Thumb drive 
• There will be a handout to follow, and you may want to add your own notes.
