She will be at the OKC Winter Quilt Show on January 14th(#WOK-15 Renaissance #1 Second Floor) teaching a class called Picture Perfect Floral Design. Here’s a summary:
Since flowers are Charlotte’s specialty, she will guide you in making of an easy applique floral wall hanging using specialty stitches on the Bernina sewing machine. Charlotte will provide the original pattern and kit. The kit will contain all that you will need; come and enjoy making this beautiful flower that can be finished with binding or placed in a frame.
The kit fee is $15 and you need to bring to class a rotary cutter, cutting mat, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, 24″ ruler, and a fabric marking pencil.
The class itself is $45.00 and is from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Imagine sitting on the edge of the lake, the sun low in the sky. There is the heron searching for a succulent little frog. The stained-glass technique lets us recreate such a natural scene with ease. So find an awesome sky fabric, add a variety of blue grays and you’re ready to create your own blue heron. We’ll use purchased fusible bias tape.

This class will use the Skillbuilder Companion Book for Machine Quilters and a preprinted fabric sampler of feathers or motifs, your choice. With a layered sandwich you will practice free motion quilting following the designs on the fabric. This is a great way to jump into the fun of free motion.
