Stained Glass Great Blue Heron

Imagine sitting on the edge of the lake, the sun low in the sky. There is the heron searching for a succulent little frog. The stained-glass technique lets us recreate such a natural scene with ease. So find an awesome sky fabric, add a variety of blue grays and you’re ready to create your own blue heron. We’ll use purchased fusible bias tape.

1930s American Hostess Apron

Ties around the neck and waist makes for a fun holiday look, with scallops at the top and bottom of the princess panels.  Each panel is set off with bias tape to give the vintage appeal.  We will be using a vintage apron pattern.
