Charlotte Hickman teaching at the Quilt Show

She will be at the OKC Winter Quilt Show on January 14th(#WOK-15 Renaissance #1 Second Floor) teaching a class called Picture Perfect Floral Design. Here’s a summary:

Since flowers are Charlotte’s specialty, she will guide you in making of an easy applique floral wall hanging using specialty stitches on the Bernina sewing machine.  Charlotte will provide the original pattern and kit.  The kit will contain all that you will need; come and enjoy making this beautiful flower that can be finished with binding or placed in a frame.

The kit fee is $15 and you need to bring to class a rotary cutter, cutting mat, paper scissors, fabric scissors, seam ripper, 24″ ruler, and a fabric marking pencil.

The class itself is $45.00 and is from 9:00AM to 12:00PM.

Christmas Rush Reminder

This is a little reminder to everybody that it’s always a great idea to get your machines in for servicing a good few months ahead of the usual Christmas rush to get machines fixed, so if you have a project you’re working on and don’t want to be interrupted when it would be most inconvenient, we’ll gladly clean, oil, and adjust your machine as well as find and fix any problems.  This reminder will also be put in this month’s email newsletter.  Thanks!
